If you are not a beach lover with all crowded sun chairs and
umbrellas, the ideal solution to enjoy sun, sea and breathtaking
landscapes is to take an organized boat tour.
Bays, coves, grottos and creeks dot the Sorrentine and
Amalfitan coastline and the island of Capri, giving you
the opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable day out.
Places like the Bay of Ieranto, the Galli Islands,
Isca and Vetara, the fjord of Crapolla may all be visited
by sea only on board an authorized boat. They are in fact located in
a natural marine park of Punta Campanella, a protected
reserve extending over 1.400 hectares of surface and 40 km of
coastline. |

As an alternative, there are tours outside the park,
where it is possible to rent a boat and sail along the
coast from Sorrento to Vico Equense. The prices
for a tour vary form 20 to 60 euro per hour (without a sailor)
for a gozzo, typical wooden boat seating 4 to 12
people. A luxury yacht for 10 passengers including lunch and
a professional sailor, can cost between 800 and 1.500 Euro a day. |
